Blendr Community Guidelines

Blendr is the place to date honestly. Our aim is to create a space where everyone can be real about who they are and what they’re looking for. We want everyone to enjoy their Blendr journey, and to use our platform safely and responsibly. To ensure that this is the case for everyone in our community, we have some guidelines to follow.

Keep it real

Please be honest about who you are. We hope that you'll meet people offline through Blendr, so you’ll need to use your real name, photo and info on your profile. We strongly recommend using our photo verification tool to let other members know that your profile is legit - once completed, you can also choose to only be shown other verified profiles ✅

We do not allow shared accounts. Whilst we know that all relationships are unique, you can’t share your Blendr account or set it up as a group with partners or friends. We’re the place to explore being your authentic, individual self.

Use our features! We have plenty available within the app and on the web to make sure your chats are ✨. Please don’t copy and paste the same message to everyone you like - take the time to check out what they’re into by reading the questions on their profile or using one of our “good openers”. You might find out that you’re both Geminis who like eating pizza in bed on Sunday mornings - thank us later.

Keep it kind

We strive to be as inclusive as possible, in everything we do. We ask you to do the same - if you wouldn’t do it or say it in real life, then please don’t do it online.

We have a zero-tolerance policy on hate speech. This includes all material that expresses any form of discrimination; including (but not limited to) race, ethnicity, religious affiliation, ability, gender identity, age, national origin, sexual orientation, or anything that is directly offensive to any member of a particular community. If your profile or your chat messages express this in any way, we’ll remove your account permanently. Whilst we encourage you to be honest about what you want, please don’t include any exclusionary language on your profile. Kindness is key 💜

Keep it safe

Your safety is of the utmost importance to us. Please don’t post your last name, phone number, home or work address, email or social media account details anywhere on your public profile. When messaging somebody new, we recommend keeping your communication to the app or site where we have processes in place to help keep you safe. You can read more about our safety tips here.

Photo guidelines

Photos that clearly represent who you are make for a great profile. Please make sure when uploading pictures they do not:

• Feature anyone under the age of 18
• Obscure your face
• Have watermarks, logos, overlaying text or heavy editing
• Contain pornography or explicit content
• Use people or celebrities who aren’t you (unless you really are Beyoncé)
• Show any illegal content, violent or offensive material

Blendr Live guidelines

We want Blendr Live to be a safe place to make meaningful connections in real time. We have a few guidelines for you to keep in mind when streaming or commenting on Blendr Live.

Streaming:

Using Blendr Live means you will be broadcasting through both video and audio, so please be aware of your surroundings. Remember, if you’re having fun, your viewers are too!

• Don’t drive whilst live streaming
• Blendr is an 18+ platform, and thus live streaming anyone under this age isn’t allowed
• Everybody is welcome, but we do require you to be fully clothed
• No violent content, incitement to hate or offensive material will be allowed; including the use of drugs, violent weaponry, threatening language or any illegal activity
• No hate speech or harassment. This includes all forms of discrimination, including racism, attacks on the LGBTQ+ community and anything that could be considered disrespectful or hateful against our users
• Do not try to sell or advertise products or services on Blendr
• Do not use Blendr Live to mislead, manipulate or scam others

Commenting:

• Live is for living. Don’t ruin the experience by spamming streamer’s comments section.
• Respect the streamer and the rest of our community, and don’t be offensive or rude to others.

We want you to get the most out of your Blendr experience, and to feel free to express yourself and explore what you want, without negatively impacting anyone else.

If you don’t respect these guidelines or our Honesty Pledge, we may permanently remove your Blendr account (whether your actions happen online or offline). We are proud to have one of the largest and ever growing communities in the online dating world, and we hope you enjoy being a part of it :)
